I'm a sixty-eight year old (2009) pagan visitor of tombs, Stone circles, Cairns and all manner of monuments found in the British Isles. since my daughter lives in Scotland, this is a sensible excuse to visit her whilst visiting those places in Scotland that are outside of my visits when i'm back home in Northumberland.
I've been to Lewis. Ullapool, and just about anywhere in Scotland that has a Stone circle or stone erected for this or that person. I've been to Cornwall (my second home - in the dream-time) where I've visited most places there, then there are the major monuments of Stonehenge, Avebury and Glastonbury Tor which I've visited so many times before - and will do again in May 2011and have a Monument Fest! ;) sigh... I will add photos and places I've visited as and when I get to them. Write me if you want to - i won't bite and you might learn something or at least i will! cheers! |
