how close to circle and what direction, please!!! i looked at the start of nov, i found cairn in picture but no circle, it looks like the stones are being eaten up, but from your picture i think you found it, so you did a lot better than me, i live in lincoln and will now have to go back, i think it's the only thing i've looked for and not found, i thought it must all be buried until i saw your picture, it's a bit mad that you found it and aren't sure and i didn't find it but know you did, tar, ps is it north or south of path and where in relation to cairn. bladup Posted by bladup

I'm cheered you think this is it, I could only trace stones through a third of its circumfrence, the rest has been covered by grass, moss and bracken. I had my shears with me and couldnt even poke at stones through the grass, so i'll never be 100% sure, but I feel better now Ive some agreement.
From the eastern end of llyn y tarw its about 150yards down the footpath and is about 25ft on the southern side of footpath, a further 50 yards on is the cairn in the picture.

thank you very much, have you ever been to cerrig cynant {802441} in carmarthenshire, coflien lists it but nothing else and burl also lists it and says its diameter is 20+ and gives it a 3, but surely if its a 3 you should be able to tell it's diameter, i like what you said on your writeup about so many stones and not enough lives, i also feel like that but also like i've been to a lot of the places before[so sometimes it feels like i'm trying to find places i've NEVER found before!!!], there are definitely connections to be made on the land and within ourselves. bladup Posted by bladup

No problem at all.
Talking about going places before, no I have'nt been to Cerrig Cynant
but I have been to the little white stone and cairn just to the south.
Iv'e marked it on my map and its marked on my list of probable visits.
It may take a while it's a long list.

That little white stone looks like it's in a hell of a spot, you seem in a very similar place to me on your overall trip, it would be mad if we ended up at cerrig cynant or the like at the same time[i visited llyn y tarn at start of nov, after the mention it got on here], i also have a long list, my maps are full of drawn rings which i fill in when visited, i always find it mad how i discover other things around where i have been as soon as i get home, so there's always some reason to bring me back!!!! bladup Posted by bladup
