Tirlun Byw - Living Working Landscapes

Ian Brooks presents the complete results of the recent archaeological survey of the hillforts of the Clwydian Range and Llantysilio Mountain in North Wales at Llanferres Village Hall on Thursday the 24th of May 2007 at 7.30pm.

Contact Helen Mrowiec of the Heather and Hillforts Project on 01824 708257 for details.

The village of Llanferres lies beneath perhaps the finest hillfort of this area, Foel Fenlli, whose double ramparts on the northern side, even after over a thousand years of erosion, still stand at 10 metres high apiece. I strongly recommend a visit as a pre (or post) talk 'hands on'!
