Hertfordshire's Oldest Barrow

Took a quick run up to Therfield (Royston) today to check out the barrows there. The long barrow is believed to be the oldest in Hertfordshire, but has also been reused in Saxon times. Had a glorious day for the run up the A1, almost too warm to wear a coat. In February?!?

Drove home down the A10 to Ware, then followed the course of the New River down to Enfield.
