Back in the last century, 1956 was the year ,on the way to Stone Henge -for the first time- we came across Wood Henge. In my 13 year old mind I tried to imagine what it was like when new and all sorts of images were laid in my memory. When we got to Stone Henge, which was then open to all,I didn't need to imagine because it was here to see and now leaves me cold.
