It was a bit of a non event really.

I went to have a look at Ash Tree Cave, but it's on private land, fenced off and no footpaths leading to it, so I took a couple of photographs from the roadway and decided to see if there was anymore information at the Cresswell Crags centre. Which I knew was linked in someway due to a web-search done before I went out.

The trouble there was that the centre is only open on a Sunday during the months November to February, so I couldn't get any more information there, or even visit the Cresswell Crags site (although foot access seems to be allowed, I decided not to risk the wrath of the owners!)

There was a URL quoted on the advertising hording at the entrance to the site, which also featured woolly mammoths and the tag line "Practically the Ice Age" or something along that line.
