Hide them out of the way?
They already are. From the views expressed, it seems as if everyone expects a cache to be in a bucket that is sat upon a stone, which in turn has "GEOCACHE HERE!" painted on it.
That's most definately not the case. Again, I invite anyone to come along for a hunt to see how these caches are hidden out of harms way.
