I knew you were’nt criticising. I decided to post the picture with myself next to the stone to give the true sense of scale.

I anybody decides to visit the stone the best way way to get to it from Stroat House. When I was there nobody was about to ask permission. So we walked down the track next to the house. It looks outside of their property. If you don’t want to be asked or challenged access anong the shore from Severndale Farm. Follow track on the left just after the railway bridge, follow shore go under railway bridge.
And one other thing, stones in general in a private fields etc. Who do they Belong to ? Land Owner / English Heritage do the public have the right to visit them ?
