CPRE have just released a report which supports the above view (there is a great little video that goes with it).

Far too soon to see any benefits from Brexit - all gloom and doom at the moment though I did hear on this morning's news about a new Chinese factory (in the Midlands I think) which will manufacture electric London taxis. Good news for (some?) jobs and the environment.
