Car trouble at the end of a week in Lorne meant we had to take the direct route home and not return via Kilmartin as planned. Thus the Achnabreck visit has been postponed. In the meantime your photos are great though!
My local garage (for local people) confirms new alternator, alternator belt, water pump and engine drive belt are required. Supplies of supermarket value-range spaghetti hoops and porridge oats have been laid in to meet the new economic conditions. A re-introduction of and extension to the recently-relaxed Howburn Austerity Measures shall prevail for the foreseeable...
I shall be back in Argyll in a few weeks time and shall take some crusts up to feed the Achnabreck Bird. In the meantime... got any more photos?
