Like Welsh, Cornish has some lovely place name locators in it's language. I Know the lanuages are vaguely related.
Just finished reading 'On Rising Ground' by Phillip Marsden, which also touches on the placename indicators in the landscape as well as being a love letter to Cornwall, it's landscape and it's past. Well worth a read, beautifully written as well. If you've read and enjoyed those Robert McFarlane books there's much to enjoy in 'Rising Ground'.
