Wish I'd seen these before. I'm just coming to the end of 5 years of art study with the final year of my degree and these are pretty inspiring.
I'm studying my council estate and have used standing stones to enhance the mystery I feel in the place (I've uncovered some mystery in the land)

About 10 years ago the council plonked a stone circle in the middle of my estate on the site of a row of shops which were demolished after a huge explosion in a kebab shop(!) 2 months before around midnight I'd taken a photo of myself trying to levitate in front of this shop then wrote a poem about death and resurrection and posted it on my blog. Since then the site's felt really significant to me.
(warning- this painting shows me suspended naked above the stones, not a pretty sight)

Sorry if I hijacked the thread but didn't want to start a new one :)
;) Just the stories we tell I suppose. It will take a lifetimes journey to find the mystery in the land - enjoy, and I hope everything turns out well!
