There has been discussion in the past about the 'energy' given off by certain types of rock - white quartz being one of them. There is white quartz stone at Boscawen-un. I imagine there are some intensely sensitive individuals out there who can pick up vibrations that others don't experience. Perhaps you could say a bit more about your work - I would be interested. We would like to interview someone on their experiences and also have them come down to Cornwall to do this in situ at the Boscawen-un stone circle to form a part of the television programme. With warm regards, Dominic Green You haven't really elaborated on why? your focus is on " the strange sensation of shaking legs or dizziness" when standing within stone circles. With respect you may get a more positive response if you widened the remit to just "experienced strange inexplicable sensations". It sounds as though you are trying to illustrate that someone being enclosed by granite etc could experience some sort of externally induced reaction. I know of someone for example who does experience vibrations which start in the legs when she is in her own home and thinks is susceptible to radio waves from the internet/mobile phones etc. I don't believe there could be any similar possibility within a stone circle but having said that, am sure many people have experienced something that might be described as 'mystical' - or perhaps otherwise described as the transference of what was going on in their minds anyway - onto the stone circle.
