I suppose it doesn't mean much, but if I decided to enter discussion on a forum by saying I can find buried stuff in fields by using dowsing rods, and somebody on that discussion forum asked if I would be willing to undergo a test to prove it, I would be more than happy to do so.

Surely anybody claiming those talents via a public forum might anticipate
that there will be requests for proof?

I can imagine there would be no greater pleasure than watching the sceptics eyes widen in disbelief(!) as I found whatever had been buried for the test, again and again by using the rods.

A simple test to put this all to bed (on TMA anyway) would be easy to organise, and probably quite fun to do, but nobody ever seems to want to show others their incredible talent.

I would genuinely love to know, from any dowser here, why they wouldn't take up the chance to show the whole TMA community, plus the hundreds I imagine visit the forums but do not post, that they can actually do it.

This debate would be over on TMA for good, and there could be no comeback from the sceptics.

So, why is nobody willing to agree to a simple test and claim victory (if you like) in front of such a huge audience. If I could dowse, I'd definitely agree to a very public test.
