I doubt he has any say in the matter . He would need permission from EH and that could be very slow in coming .



But they'll either align or they won't and that will be evident from the diagrams and photos. If they do then there's hardly any need to dig the intervening 20m up.



Some in each of the sections , T45 and the road, may be on the same bearing but whether they join up is not guaranteed ,although they probably will and it won't matter much ,as long as some do then there is a basis for the theory . There may well be others on the same bearing to the eat and west and yet others that don't align .
