Saturday was good, using the 49 as you'd expect. I wanted to finally get to Winterbourne Bassett (though hardly worth the effort) and it's almost exactly four years since I last went up onto Windmill Hill, so a revisit was overdue. The sun shone all the way, until halfway round the SW quadrant. By the time I got to the Cove it was chucking it down!




If you saw anybody gioing around measuring water levels at springs etc it was Steve .
