I like that very much, best of luck with your talk tomorrow. They're very peaceful and dreamy, and the use of real film gives them such an otherworldly nostalgic (nostalgic in a good way) air. They've got a bit of a 'small films' vibe too, do I detect? and in your opening titles perhaps? All good. Plus the owl servicesque film too.

I wanted to tell you about a film I saw at an MA show a couple of years ago but I can't remember for the life of me who the artist was. It was shot at Silbury though in a circle (with a fish eye lens? I don't know), then it was projected around the inside of a ring maybe 10 ft across (if you see what I mean) and you could watch the sun rise and set over a day, sped up over the course of a minute maybe. Different from your stuff of course but it seemed to have something in common, a sort of timelessness.
