Yeah - I was wondering how much light pollution there was around Stonehenge, what with the A303 and Larkhill camp nearby... I've only ever stood outside the fence at night there and can't say I've noticed either way, but as Bucky says, light pollution is a major problem anyway.
And if it IS to be lit up, may I suggest putting it on a rotating base as well, so passers-by get the FULL experience from the comfort of their nice warm cars?
