Yeah, reckon 50% more that UK is about right...... couldn't afford to eat out except at Burger King........ mind you we did see Lidls and other budget stores springing up as the economic downturn began to bite.
There is probably a Lidl / Aldi in every town in Ireland now. Also surely the hotel prices must be great value? Some serious deals out there.
Just out of curiosity what was more expensive, Id like to be able to say that prices have came down since then, because they have pretty dramatically in some areas.
