The Ridgeway was featured on Country Tracks this morning, I caught it from about halfway through while Ellie Harrison had just stopped off to have a look at the Uffington white horse. Might be worth a watch on the iplayer to see what else was featured earlier on.

I spotted this having just come in from a 'ramble' which started at Ogbourne St George and went up onto the Ridgeway - wonderful views across the misty undulations of Wiltshire though very muddy today.
Had a quick look at Country Tracks online and found the Ridgeway bit, if its the right episode, about 36 minutes in. Ellie Harrison rides up to the Uffington White Horse on horseback - some great aerial shots of the White Horse and a couple of throwaway snippets (Ellie said that Iron Age artifacts found up there proved it was a burial site before the White Horse was carved).

Edit: this just landed in my in-box - may be of interest.
