Yeah, the researshers used wooden balls, bit cited stone balls, and I'm pretty sure the ones I saw in Orkney weren't chalk. But I'm happy to b corrected! :)

Sorry Goffik, I obviously read it too quickly, and missed the wooden balls bit. I assumed it was just referring to moving the sarsens to Stonehenge, so assumed chalk balls.
