Trumps' Son - cant remember his name - was pictured on local TV News when the first sods were being cut for initial land stabilisation. He was wearing an expensive suit and Gucci Loafers standing in a muddy field beside an excavator and tractor. The Muppet looked completely out of place - just like this development.
Unfortunately, this whole sorry episode is just one example of the moral corruptness of Local "Democracy" and the Planning Process. I dont say this glibly. Always the carrot of Jobs seems to over-ride all other considerations, including our Culture, History and Environment.
Unfortunately, we never seem to learn from History so I suppose it doesnt really matter if, in the name of economic growth and development, we destroy all physical remains of our History.
