Even if we could agree on what a shamnaistic world view is and also agree that it was as widespread as rockart in time and space we still have no evidence of who made the rock art in the first place . All we know for sure is that men women and children were involved in some cases .It maywell have been the job for the dinner ladies . I see a movement away from that type of approach in rock art studies in the past 20 years .
