I had a 'first' this very day; finally got to see the polisher stone after several failed attempts at finding it. PeteG kindly led me up there...

You lucky lady! I'm looking forward to meeting PeteG sometime soon. Seems like he's the dood who knows this region better than anyone, from what everyone tells me. And the right attitude to boot! (btw - my 1st down here was years back, for worrits worth; with some hobbyist tourist-types)

But if you're into getting yuer teeth into some serious decent megalithics, when did anyone first visit the Kilmartin complex? Somewhat kicks the shit outta Avebury, don't y' think!? And then worrabout the 1st time anyone visited Brimham? Or Little Meg? Or the Swastika Stone?
