Well, I thought that going at 2am would have more or less guaranteed getting the place to myself, and I did for half an hour or so, but still met 3 other people before I left at about half 3. The Long exposure times meant that they didn't show up in the photos, and when they did, generated some interesting shadowy ghost figures. Mind, it was summertime, and as the latitude means it never really gets properly dark, it's not all that surprising. 2am in January, I suspect there's be a lot more solitude available :)

Earlier in the day, from about 5-7pm, it was quite busy (not Avebury busy, but definitely Castlerigg busy)
