At approximately the 1:19 mark, Gabriel can be heard saying the words "bon cuis", which in French roughly translates to "good kitchen". It is widely believed that the actual words said are "don't quit". During a recent interview, however, Gabriel explained that his peculiar choice of words was a reflexive response to the studio chef's adjacent kitchen into which he had a clear view through his control room window. According to Gabriel, the previous studio chef (who departed halfway through the recording of Car) had a "mauvais cuis", which in French roughly translates to "bad kitchen
