wow - that's interesting - cant believe we didn't know about that one. lovely carving too.
any particular astral features to be seen in the locale on the 21st / 22nd?
we saw the moon over midmar a couple of years back at summer solstice but became convinced the recumbent could be a siting level for it - the angle of the hills in the valley wouldn't allow it
