| 4 inner circles.. wow i am kinda new to this, i really need to get investigating. my girlfreind when i first took her to Avebury commented that the outer mound was the right height for spectators to see in. she hadnt been to any stone circles before and didnt know much about them. it was something i hadnt thought before. she did also sugest that it could have been for sports and then when the romans came over liked the idea and took it back and built things the same.
