I found an interesting feature at Avebury that dosn't seem to have been mentioned in any books etc. At the end of the ditch near to the information center stand two trees. One of them is shaped at the roots resembling a woman giving birth and the "baby's" head is a stone. Check it out, it is worthy of recognition, and connects with earth energy and fertility in a magical way. I've got pix but don't know how to post them on site.
