For example, the revised planning application said that no nationally important archaeology was contained within the redrafted area yet in the provisional archaeology work carried out earlier this year (in the most attrocious weather to perform such archaeology (guarranteed to minimise any finds)) they found several Neolithic pits

Yes, I noticed all the very significant finds that were publicised, at a time when it was assumed permission was a done deal and couldn't be reversed.

Now that things are a bit less certain the work has been stopped. Funny that.

Well not funny, just utterly predictable.
