The tall stone with the hole in the top could be the other bullaun. On Inishmurray off Sligo there is (or was) a similar stone with a stone cap that fits snuggly into the hole. This is classed (oddly) as a bullaun. A picture can be seen on this page - search for 'Clocha Breaca' and the image is below.


Guess that's a possibility, though I'll have to post a photo of the other possible bullaun and see what you think.

Nobber, as you know, is actually An Obair (The Work). Nobberbeg is The Little Work. What the neighbouring townland of Muff (no sniggering down the back there) is I haven't yet discovered. I look forward to Joyce's explanation!
