I felt women were being exploited.
Exactly my impression. Plus humiliated. In fact it is their stock in trade, patronising that portion of womanhood that doesn't notice what's happening and doing a disservice to the rest. Which makes all their cant about messing with the Long Man in order to empower women everywhere all the more awful.
