I don't think it can have been a postcard already, unless the good Revd. (Who was engaged to the woman pictured) sold his pictures for this purpose.
They were living in Wroughton, a few miles to the north, and used to go there in his pony and trap.
Incidentally, would it be fair to say that he is standing next to Stone 103, while the other two are sitting on the yet-to-be re-erected Stone 102?
