One possibility (necessary if there are no uncopyrighted photos of the crime scene) is to use a photo of the sea and shoreline, close up and focusing on the textures and shapes as land and sea meet. I've got some possibilities for that.

In view of the feelings we seem to share about Seahenge, that might be the most appropriate focus to have - the way the sea reveals and also destroys, and the fact that any photo of Seahenge is a photo of something that's no longer in situ.
