The offensive word in question - Swastika - sounds german to me - the symbol was around centuries before the nazi's adopted it, did it have a less offensive name before? If so what was it? Maybe SG could alter her name?

swas·ti·ka (swst-k) Pronunciation Key
n.
An ancient cosmic or religious symbol formed by a Greek cross with the ends of the arms bent at right angles in either a clockwise or a counterclockwise direction.
Such a symbol with a clockwise bend to the arms, used as the emblem of the Nazi party and of the German state under Adolf Hitler, officially adopted in 1935.
[Sanskrit svastika, sign of good luck, swastika, from svasti, well-being. See (e)su- in Indo-European Roots.]

It's a Hindu word and very, very old.

Ah. Guessed I could've googled before posting. I am enlightened. Well that blows that out of the water. Cheers FW. I have no other suggestions so will crawl back under my stone.
