I guess that depends a lot on what floats your boat. For me a standing stone can be every bit as exciting as a long cairn. If you like Iron Age sites, there're literally loads that haven't been listed on TMA. A quick comparison of Coflein and our beloved TMA map gives an indication of the potential to find your personal 'gem'.

Also, we have new sites re-appearing every year. I've got a possible new kerbed cairn to investigate, which could be fun. There's also a newly discovered hengiform monument near me (not very much left on the ground, but extremely relevant to the other sites around it).
