Well they were certainly removed ("made it too dark") and then replacements were installed and big curtains added, to keep the light out.
!!

My theory is that he used them in the druidic folly he installed in his back garden, a hundred yards up the road. I keep knocking, but the people are never in.
If i can get in there and find medieval glass in the soil I'll 'ave 'im banged to rights.
