It really isn't too far off from observations at the site. It's unusual for a wedge tomb to point so far south, but the one at Cromwell does too (it's not a passage tomb as Derek has labeled it on TMA).


Had a look at this one but despite the view the sun would not set over the Ballyhoura hills at winter solstice but the major winter moon would , about
2.5 Km west of Carron mountain .
