Lundy: celtic realm

I got to this site through the fantastic weblog created by purejoy re: Lundy.

I lived on Lundy for a couple of years, during which time I started guided history and mythology walks. Since leaving, I have developed my own site http://www.lundypete.com, where I particularly focus on the history and mythology that motivated my time there.

I am open to any questions regarding this at any time: I am particularly fascinated by Robin Heaths contentions that the ancient britons used Lundy as an anchor point in the building and location of Stonehenge, its links with Prescelli, etc.

Spend some time on the Island: the magic is alive there more than anywhere. And its a real tangible link with our real history and culture, recognised, feared and obliterated by 2000 years of romano-centric history.
