As a pagan this kind of behaviour disgusts me. The "policy" here of removing all such crap is the right one and one I also try to follow.
The only thing I have ever left at such sites is water that I have poured onto the ground...as well as a little mead on a couple of occasions.
Anything else is selfish and fuckwitted in the extreme.
