That's awful! I'd like to think it's just done in ignorance, but it doesn't make it any better in my mind..!
This sort of thing has been mentioned on here many times before - how difficult would it be for the guardians of these sites (the likes of EH, I mean, not supernatural guardians!) to stick a few signs up saying "please take your crap home and don't deface anything"? Jeez...
