The awkward thing is (from a tma point of view) is that prehistoric provenance can be ascribed to natural features. There's a category for rock shelters, they're natural features, but we only know they're prehistorically significant if there are recorded finds indicating use in the waybackwhen.

There's a high probability that many natural features were somehow significant (exactly how is anyone's guess) to people in the days before and after monuments started to be created. Thus there are natural features which have a place on this website.

But tma would be a bit overloaded if every potential rock shelter were posted up, even if they got 'DA' tags. Hence the need for some leeway for dodgy sites, but id posted, those who post them must be prepared to take flak on the forum, and put up some evidence beyond 'I just feeeel it in my bones maaaan...'. Then we get to chew the cud and argue the toss, which imho, is part of the fun.
