| found an article last night, suggesting that there was a large pole sticking out of the top of Silbury, used for casting a shadow for the Winter Solstice ... the work of Moses Cornish, I believe where will this mound/tree-type thing madness end? mind you, if that's the case, then the hole in the top of Silbury might be nothing to do with the Duke of Northumberland, but might in fact be due to a big, prehistoric socket hole quite a thought ...
