Sorry Tuesday, I was rambling a bit there.

The Bowden Doors are a double ridge of outcrop in north Northumberland. They have a number of morphologically strange features, and are possibly an overlooked focus for a lot of the prehistoric monuments and rock art in the area.

They also have one heck of an atmosphere. A very strong 'sense of presence'. It's one of my favourite places, despite the apparent lack of prehistoric remains.
