We went for a walk today from barbury to faxhill and not having done some of the sections for sometime i noticed that the part that starts from the ogbourne to aldbourne road has changed colour since i last saw it. Its been resurfaced with a load of crunched up old tarmack, i just hated the way it all suddenly looked black without even any plants growing throuh. I reasise some other areas have been unsympatheticaly resurfaced but i just thought it seemed all wrong because it was so black and covered up everything. I wonder if it was just a cheap option and saved disposing of some old dug up pavements. Apart from that it was a really great day.
