I have gotten an email from an American photographer who was in Ireland recently and thinks he stumbled across two standing stones near the town of Quinn (county Clare?), within a few hundred yards or so of each other. I have had a look and havent seen anything on megalithomania and irishmegaliths but the two photos he sent do look like genuine standing stones:

Can anyone help this guy out with a name/location or any other info on the two stones? Maybe they are just cattle scratchers but they look quite nice of they are real.
