| i know the dewpond, i ride past it most days on the way to work. i'll have a look later. funnily enough, i was having a look at a stone by the side of the Ditchling Road last night, I wonder if it is the same one? You can see this one from Ditchling Road (Esat Side), it is on it's side in the corner of a field and you have to climb a bit of barbed wire from the road. Its a fine stone, and I did note the view. The sea looked lovely as well this morning. Reckon you might be able to peep the top of Wolstonbury from there if the bushes weren't there. What do you think? old Boat? it does look a bit boat like. There is an Old Boat corner in Upper Lodges wood isn't there? Any significance? Also a tumuli i believe. I have been meaning to have a good explore of the Stanmer area.
