Site near Druid's Circle: the final answer

Dear friends,
Thanks to Frances Lynch, an archaeologist known for her research on megalithic sites of Wales, the famous issue about the strange monument beside Druid's Circle near Penmaenmawr has finally been cleared.
For years, many enthusiasts of megalithic monuments (ourselves included) incorrectly identified that site with the so-called circle 278 which actually is a ring cairn lying about 150m up the track from the Druid's Circle.
As a matter of fact, according to Mrs Lynch the "controversial" site, characterized by a jumble of stones, is officially known as Monument 280. Full details can be found on the Stone Pages forum:
