Hello, Blonde! Welcome to TMA!

Glad you made it - a fine set of first posts if you don't mind me saying..! ;o)

I gotta couple of points/questions...

1) The Harold Stone - I was just wondering about access. Did you have any problems? Kammer wrote "The Harold Stone is on private land, so I'm guessing access is a potential problem" - but then adds he was in a hurry... Also - the shape of the stone looks very wide in Kammer's pic, and a bit slimmer in yours - is it just the angle?

2) This is a lovely looking stone!

3) At Cerrig Meibion Arthur - you mention "4 springs converge in the area"... This is of great interest to me, as people here might already know! And, indeed, as YOU know, I have an unhealthy fascination with wells and springs. We've had a big conversation here recently (see here) about wells and their significance (or otherwise) to prehistoric people... more really to do with the antiquity of the wells themselves, but it all tallies, for me, when this sort of thing happens... There are several sites that I know of, and I'm certain there are many more, that seem to have connections with water sources. Erm... Swallowhead Spring is pretty much the only one that springs (ha. ha.) immediately to mind, but humour me!

I won't go on (again), suffice to say cheers for pointing that out!

Wish we would have gone with ya now! :( Next year...

G x

PS - hope all my links work... Sorry if they don't - I'm just showing off... ;o)
