Just one thing though Baz, all these things are unconnected I know, but just confining it to the heritage sector you can't help noticing peculiar contrasts and wierd priorities - big news conferences about Stonehenge while Silbury suffers in silence, digging UNDER the Stonehenge landscape and INTO the Thornboro one.
That's why I'm so obsessed with the jester. I'm sure he's a harmless idea with an admirable bladder and unconnected with anything else, but for EH to have publicised their appointment of something so in your face and frivolous while falling down on really big things just seems like they're thumbing their nose at the likes of us, knowing they can always keep the public thinking they're wonderful.
I'll try not to mention him again!
